contract ends at the very end of may but am hoping to stay for another 3 months, not by choice though. i kinda have to as i need to make a couple more dollars before coming home. i'm so poor atm.
jenny i HATE korea. I hate the people and their culture, the way they do things, how very last minute they are with making plans, pretty much everything about korea. the only thing got me staying is the amazing food. I highly doubt i will miss it. i mean it aint London.
well im not sure what you are talking about..but from my experience koreans are very judgmental, critical, hot tempered drama queens...so i understand what part of the culture do you not like?
also.... the koreans are very unorganized at scheduling events, meetings, etc... they're very last minute at everything and worse, expect you to drop all plans and attend these meetings.
they're all superficial and fake. all the girls are caddy. they'll backstab you in a heartbeat.
if you're not size 16 in girls AND gorgeous, no one will give you the time of day.
here's one that really pisses me off. anytime i go out in public, mainly shops/boutiques, whenever i walk in, the koreans rarely pay attention/acknowledge me/are quite assholes. as soon as they realize i'm not one of them, can't speak Korean, and am actually American, they're the nicest, friendliest, most helpful, i want to be your friend, lets have an conversation, sales person ever. i find this fucked up!
