Interesting theory. However, the Emperor would have known if his right hand man was orchestrating such a coup. Also, this whole plan leaves out that Luke was strong in the Force and that is what enabled him to destroy the Death Star. In addition, the droids had their memories wiped so they had no idea they once belonged to Anakin. And they of course would belong to Leia since they were her mother's. So that connecton isn't valid. Luke is used to shooting things "About two meters wide" because he has shot wamp rats back at Beggar's Canyon back home on Tattooine. So shooting something that small really isn't a stretch for him. And Darth has no idea his children survived, if he had, he would have destroyed them. So nope, not buying it.
Some inacuracies I caught as well: 1)The pilot talking to Luke during the briefing of how to destroy the Death Star is NOT Wedge Antilles as stated. 2) The pilot that tries to destroy the Death Star before Luke is also NOT Wedge, though it was stated he was.
