As a black man coming up age in the 1980s I really did not understand what that meant. Where I had heard about the injustices visited on black people prior to the 1960s I could not fully understand them. How could you unless you lived through them. Imagine being born in the 1900s like this lady from Atlanta was with her current age of 106. Imagine
