It's such a great idea, that Amanda might have taught Inara. (I don't know if you have read the other story out there that posits this?) In theory, it totally works for me, anyway, but this story takes that idea to wonderful places, because you have captured Amanda's way of thinking and both their voices so well. I especially love the conversation where Amanda is trying to decide whether to tell her.

So satisfying! And thank you for keeping Richie alive. :) That made me smile.
