I am not done yet. I have just read this part. But oh my god. I love this so much. Reading part 2 now!

Thank you! It was fun to write (once I got over the collywobbles, if I forget the deadline jitters). It was really fun watching the movie scene by scene and playing "Where's Joe?" and "Where's Methos?" as the Hulk hurtles by or giant alien troop carriers ram into iconic New York buildings. (I've only been in New York the equivalent of a long weekend decades ago, so there was much googling of maps going on.) Shwarma was mandatory.
