I love how masterfully you played the game with your words. There were small clues, which I foolishly took for very slight and easily overlooked missteps, but then in the end its perfection was revealed, and I grinned and licked the spoon with my eyes closed in pure delight.

Oh my goodness gracious. Wow. I read it kind of double-tracking, holding the possibility of the narrator/pov being either of them in mind, and was still delightfully satisfied at how it came out. Wonderful piece.
