Thank you, Pat! I hope it held up for you to the end. I confess to being a new convert to Leverage, and there are probably some character nuances I missed or got wrong, but it is a capering caper kind of show. You might give it a test drive, kick the tires...

I just have to tell you how much I particularly love Amanda in this story, and how you show the love that all the Immortals have for Joe. This was one of my favorite lines:

Amanda said, a wicked gleam in her eye belying her innocent tone. “Do you think Joe will be happy to see me?”

“Joe is always happy to see you,” Methos observed. “He has a stunted sense of self-preservation.”

Says so much, about all of them!

This is fantastic! I mean, you can't go wrong with Methos. But Methos and Hardison?! I'm still giggling over that broadsword line.

And then there's Parker fangirling Amanda, and Duncan getting pummeled by Eliot.

I've only been able to get through part 1 of the story so far, but you've made my night! (and weekend, and possibly Christmas).

Awesome job.

Thank you! The thought of Amanda and Parker teaming up is a little terrifying, no? Not to mention what Methos could teach Hardison (and thank goodness this wasn't slash, because that would have broken my brain circuits.

I do have to come to Duncan's defense--nobody expects Berzerker!Eliot, and Duncan wasn't geared up to full battle mode yet. Watching them spar would be something.
