Oh, man, Santa, I'm lingering over every word of this. Whoever you are, it's like you know me so well. Honey and sesame! Amnesia! "their couch." *flails* And like Majnun wandering in the desert-ahaha, I love you. *goes back to reading*

At the end... Oh, god, that's so beautiful. I didn't want it to end. I can't thank you enough for this. It's a story of my heart, it really is. Methos taking care of him, and Duncan only knowing the most important things, and the beautiful, beautiful details of the setting, and their lives. The idea that Methos is talking to Joe! And then Connor!! I put my hand over my mouth and grinned.

Your words are magical. Thank you so much for this.

He says, "Now?" and Methos arches against him, unexpectedly and desperately willing.

Gah. I just want to read that sentence over and over. :D

Crumbs, Killa. When amand_r sent the e-mail through, I nearly gave up! Because I really wanted to write you something sweeping and epic and Maygra-ish, and really, it wasn't going to happen, so you need to know that hafital was totally, totally storming and unovis_lj brilliant and I couldn't have written this without either of them. (Um. How about... ? Does she like... ? *g*)

So I'm glad you liked this. And I loved, loved watching the pantomine of guessing. You knew!

Honestly, it was the present tense, and the fact that the author knew I like amnesia, that put you in mind. :) I love that you consulted my brain twin, haha. It really did feel like this was written with so much care for everything I love, and I'm so grateful to you for the gift. What a beautiful story. {{{{}}}}

"You sleep like a crusader," Methos says, cross, and Duncan laughs.

Beautiful. So carefully crafted. I felt like I was with them, in this dessert-side town. Thank you. :)

hafital, thank you. You know this would have been a far different - and worse! - story without you. I'm seriously grateful, not just for comments on Plan A, but for the insight into what to actually write.

Thank you.
