I love Darius's dilemma in this, when faced with the choice between giving Kronos his head or or challenging him. His third option seems perfectly in character, and Methos's solution is chillingly efficient. I love the idea of Methos owing Darius an old debt, too.

Clever and effective. I like how you show just how effective Methos can be when pushed -- demonstrating what Kronos was looking for/lacking. And Darius is no slouch himself -- knowing who to call on is a mark of leadership too.
