Here are my first guesses - I'm not including ones which I know for sure (because I beta-read or wrote)

"The Bookmobile and the Water Witch" - Adabsolutely
"Batman and the Immortal" - Ryenna (Merriman)
"Win, Place or Show" - either Ishafel or Silentflux, can't make up my mind
"Don't Rock the Boat" - Lferion
"Rising to the Challenge" - Silentflux
"Desperados Waiting for a Train" - I think that Unovis did my story - (the language feels familiar, but I refuse to cheat and look at her past stories)
"Sastrugi" - I'm leaning toward Hafital (but that might not be my final answer)
"Tantalus" - Killa, I think.
"A Tale of Diamonds and Drawers" - either Idontlikegravy or Jinxed_Wood. I think. Maybe.

And that's my guesses for now.

umm, I already guessed on the earlier thread. So I won't submit the same guess again.

Did the stats include number of boats? I think they may be as numerously present as horses.

I fail at this guessing thing. I have two or three authors in mind for more than half of the stories I've read, and keep pushing them around like scrabble pieces. I fail at scrabble, too. haha.

I have absolutely no clue at all. I think whoever wrote mine knows me well, maybe jinxed_wood, it has the deftness of touch and clever turn of phrase that I associate with her writing.

Also, I think lferion wrote "Don't Rock the Boat", but that's less to do with writing style and more from the posts on her LJ saying her fic was epic!
