I am hitting myself over the head (okay, not literally...) for not listening to Vampire Weekend sooner than yesterday. I THINK Greg had tried to tell me they were good at some point, but I have to admit, I was really turned off by the name of the band. I just pictured a bunch of Ann Rice (sorry Caroline...) Goth kids playing scary drawn out stuff

It was me! I told you about them last year when I heard them on NPR. Actually, I think they're originally from Cambridge? If I remember right, I think they were all Harvard kids or something.

They all went to Columbia in New York. Not sure if they are all from Cambridge originally...could have been, but I'm not that obsessed to find out. Haha.

You probably did tell me about them, because everyone did ;) Greg was just very persistant and I was very persistant to not listen.

Of course! I actually think I like it with the strings here more than the keyboards/harpsichord (sp?) they use on the album version. But it's overall just a cool song.
