I love the way you've got the swirl effect in the first one. It really gives a sense of movement. Lovely icons.

Thank you! I was hoping to achieve the "motion" effect, on the first icon so I'm really pleased that it worked for you.

I adored your entries for this one. Nabbing the middle two -- thank you so very much for sharing!

I really like the dramatic coloring on the second icon -- utterly lovely.

Although, I can't help but be distracted with your Merlin icon. Oh boys :). Out for a lovely stroll together -- seeing as Princes have nothing better to do than spend the afternoon with their manservant ;). That really is a gorgeous icon -- the colouring is exquisite and you've sharpened it just perfectly (and yes -- this is a HL comm, but surely we can occasionally digress?)

I've got no objection to a digression in a Merlin direction *g*. Thanks for the very kind comments on that icon. Sharpening is one of my big problems so I'm delighted you think I got it right :) It was one of those icons where you know that you mustn't try to tweak it any more, it's done.

Duncan looks so dramatic in that hat that I couldn't resist the dramatic colouring.

I adored this icon; the detail that was retained in the hat was amazing and I loved the colouring of the background texture. It all blended in beautifully. Well done!

Thank you -- I was surprised, but obviously I'm learning from watching you guys. *g*

I suspect there's little we can teach you! But many, many thanks for participating. And here's looking forward to more of your icons!
