OH what a delightful little gem! ♥ You've captured them exactly. This is one of my all-time favorite films and this is just them, every little snark and bon mot! And awww, Cosmo! (Was the photoshoot inspired by those pics of "roommates" Cary Grant and Randolph Scott from back in the day? And by William Haines?) I couldn't have loved this more, except of course I'd want a happy ending for Cosmo and Charlie!

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it! You're right on with both those inspirations, by the way :) I have to confess I actually got so wrapped up in reading and thinking about William Haines that way more of him ended up in this story than was originally intended.

LOL, I am such a classic Hollywood geek. It informed it nicely, but didn't overwhelm the story. Nice, light, snappy and so much fun, overall. Until the end.
