Haven't laughed my way through a fic the way I did with this in a long time. Your dialogue is to die for, and Jensen's intial robot-baby trauma is priceless.

I almost feel sorry for Mark. What you gave us here felt like a window into Jared & Jensen's world the way others would never see them and I loved every minute of them.

Thanks so much! Yeah, I feel bad for Mark, too. I went into revisions thinking I'd make things better for him and instead I kind of made them worse. Whoops!

As much as I am not really a kid person (and yet, they love me, go figure) this story with that last bit of artwork, with Jared with the kid on his shoulders?

Kind of kills me.

(Also- baby-bot? SO FREAKING CREEPY.)

Isn't it the sweetest ever? I love how normal a scene it seems, with the kid glancing away and his hands fisted in Jared's hair. I just had to scroll back up and gaze again <3

HAHA, sorry to creep you out! True story - I wrote about 3/4 of this and then realized that my bff/beta has a DOLL PHOBIA and therefore probably wouldn't be all that jazzed to read it. She was good about it, though ;)

I actually have a history of randomly sticking Vin Diesel in my J2. Unfortunately (or, well, fortunately, depending on who you ask) this is the only one so far to reach completion and leave the nest ;)

Do you know how hard it is to read this and not laugh out loud so my coworker doesn't think I'm completely spastic? Seriously, I think I pulled something. But it was worth it, because this? Is fucking brilliant! I loved the whole thing from beginning to end. Awesome. \o/
