A drop in the bucket

* I just dropped 5 yr. old off at Kindergarten. It was chaos, he was freaked, I was freaked. Makes for a long day wondering how he is doing, hoping noone is mean to him and that his teacher is wonderful and makes sure he is safe.  *sniffles*

*hugs* As an educator, you know all the right things to say to anxious parents. Just remember that all those things we say are true. I'm sure he's having a good time and that he'll quickly ease into the routine. I'm thinking of both of you today and sending loads of happy, positive vibes.

I have told parents for the past two weeks, what to do when they drop off their child, but oh when it was mine it was hard!!

But I got an email and she said he was doing great, can't wait to pick him up today.

Awww I'll be dropping my son off the week after next. Not too bad because it's the same school that his nursery was in, but still. It's a new classroom and a new teacher, new uniform, and after a couple of weeks it'll be all day. I hope he had a good day and wasn't too daunted by it.
