It has taken me a long time to figure out how to post something on my journal. You would think I would have noticed the line at the top of the page that said post to journal. Not me---the most unobservant person in the world. You are so very kind, Min. You truly light up my life.
Hugs and smoochies. This year will better than the last.
Yes, I still live in Arkansas. I think I am a long way from you because of what you said about the rock layer blocking the storm shelter. We don't do rock here. I know what you mean about the LJers and Arkansas. I am so "abie-normal" for my age and profession that I keep quiet about a lot of things. I am so very proud of your mother for having women for daughters rather than "girlie" girls who can't get their hands dirty. Besides, I found out a long time ago, even if you have a man in your life, most of the time, he won't be there when you need him. I have checked out a little of your journal. I love the camping in the Hall of Fire and marshmallows in the twins hair. I really do love anything to do with the twins. Even better, was the story of Ereastor and Glorfindel getting the naked elfling out of the tree. I talk way too much. Thank you for friending me. I look forward to your entries.
I found another ARkie, I found another Arkie...uh, er, another Arkie found meeeee, another Arkie found meeeeee!!!
I'm about 45 minutes west of Conway, just outside of London. And I soooo understand the abi-normal! I be one, too! *grins*
Yeah, mom taught us we were NOONE's punching bag, our life was OURS not some stupid guy's, and the lessons really hit home. Me and my other sister, 3 years younger are STILL single *giggles madly*, my baby sister is the only one married but she only has one kid...so pretty much everyone tells her she's not a real mom. She says they can kiss her ass! LOL!!!
I'm so glad you're enjoying my fics. This is the first place I've really put my stuff out where the public can read it. "Never Say Never" is my first LOTR fanfic and most of those 'fluffy' drabbles come from that universe. You'll see who the 'nekkid elfling' is later on. *grins*
Have you read the two 'pirate' related drabbles? The twins are big stars in those, too!
I am in South Arkansas just north of the LA border; just outside Hamburg. I went to college in Conway (in the Dark Ages) when it was briefly SCA.
I am offically proud to met another abi-normal Arkie. Even though I am old enough to be your grandmother, we shall be abi together. You write and I will read! I am looking forward to reading more of your journal tonight. Take care. By the way, there is no way you could run off enough at the mouth. I am thrilled to death to hear from you. Mary Alice
