A Sci-Fi Mind in a Ordinary World

As many of you know, I bought a house a little less than two weeks ago, and moved in on Saturday the eleventh.

This weekend, we started the yard work. La Fiancee (a.k.a. prncesssprklpnt) mowed the lawn, put down the weed 'n' feed, and watered the lawn. My job was to pull up all the weeds that were growing against the house and in the gardens ( Read more... )

Dude, you keep that sort of thoughts to yourself!

Unless you're an artist! A painter of some kind, or maybe a professional writer. Then, they're an example of that wonderful and artistic brain of yours, and will give you points on the Reproduce worthiness scale.

Really, keep those thoughts for yourself. Do it...

Ah, you are obviously a Sci-Fi mind in an ordinary world, as well, if the thing about that which you find appallingly unrealistic is the spelling which makes the smut joke possible. =)

I had a similar reaction when I did my first yard clean-up. I blame Day of the Triffids for my paranoia about sentient weeds & plants coming to life to subjugate us all!

Oh, lord, I'm going to be totally paranoid when I start digging out my planters...waiting for your weird gardenmonster to burrow all the way from Florida. LOL.
