DVDs Are My Kryptonite

Every time I go to a store that has DVDs, I end up spending more than I intended to because I inevitably find something that really appeals to me. Something that I just cannot let pass, something which just jumps out at me and grabs me by the collar and shakes me until I buy it.

I now own the first season of MacGyver on DVD.

Notice how he rarely used duct tape. That's the challenge. MacGuyver with duct tape wouldn't have even been fair.

I have so many, many things on my DVD wish list. At the top, all four seasons of Farscape, plus the Peacekeeper Wars. Someday, when I have a spare $700 or so, I may splurge and get them. Also want the first season of Battlestar Galactica for sure.
Why are dvds so darn expensive? she says plaintively...

I have the first season of MacGyver. He is wholesome, not stupid. It's fun to play, "back when they were stars" with the guests. Alas, I am now two seasons behind -- both two and three are out and I don't have them.

I wrote MacGyver fanfic when I was thirteen. Of course I'd never heard of fanfic so I wrote it in script form and was going to submit it to the studios, but the bastards cancelled the show before I had a chance. *sigh*
