if you use the recipe i linked, you can make 'chocolate oatmeal cookies' (instead of choco chip oatmeal cookies) by actually melting the butter in the microwave and adding the choco chips while you're mixing in the oats. The first time I wasn't thinking and i did that, and all the cookies came out chocolate.
