I went digging through my old floppy disks, since I have a USB floppy drive I mess with sometimes. And I found the disk with DCFS on it. Most of it, anyway. Chapter 2 isn't there. I think that file had been corrupted. But the rest is intact. So I skimmed over it.

And now I want to claw my eyes out.

It's not canon as far as my other original stuff is concerned, but I'm thinking of doing a rewrite based on what I've been able to salvage.

It's one of those things where it seemed good at the time. I have good memories of it, but I dunno what'll happen if i re-read it. lol

Haha, going down memory lane, huh? I don't remember much specifics for DCFS, I'd have to probably dig up the logs of #BoF. Man, it's been such a long time. :O

The Web Archive doesn't have any of the old site's subforums indexed-just the main site and the forums' main index, pretty much-so it's extremely doubtful that any part of the story can be found online.

I continued using the characters I had established, but the way I wrote it burns my eyes now. It's not likely that I'll actually upload the MS Word files I'd saved as backups. One of those files was lost due to corruption anyway.
