Even if this - but the real reason was that he loved them like crazy. - made me tear up. Jim realy did love them - it's what made me love him so. You know, I often find it hard to read any Pastor Jim that isn't yours. It's not the fault of the author, but yours was my first and best intro to him in fic and it was everything (totally canon in my head) that I wanted Pastor Jim to be.

*sniffles* And that's why we all got hooked on this show. Because it does these sorts of things to us.
I love how Jim introduced John to Bobby and it was Bobby who called John in 'Salvation.' And, you know, in 'Periphery' I never blamed Jess for going back to California. She's allowed to have a breaking point, to not be the perfect girlfriend. And this is all created in Sam's head so if Sam feels like he doesn't deserve to have her with him then away she goes.
Oh, Sammy, you always try so hard. You break my heart.

Very glad to hear you didn't dislike Jess for bailing out. It's true that she happened upon Sam's Crazeh in full flower, and as we know, Winchester Crazeh is super-sized and freaksome. So I guess I should cut her some slack for needing a bit of space.
