Okay, so I am terrible. I've been home from the honeymoon for three days and I have barely touched my email, haven't responded to very kind good-wishes comments from before the wedding, haven't been able to even wrap my head around sorting through the 1,728 pictures our photographer handed us on CD the day after the event, and I haven't gotten ( Read more... )

Thanks so much! We don't usually look this spiffy, but I admit to finding Marc ridiculously appealing. Plus, being that happy definitely shows up in pictures :-)

Dude - you look gorgeous!! and it looks like you were both genuinely just having a good time - SO MUCH YAY! I can only hope we have your luck with the weather and the relaxed feelings - I'm pretty sure I can let go of the control stuff, but not so sure my man will be able to - we'll see. Thank you! I felt really pretty all day long, which is not my usual state of mind. We had so much fun, which was a truly welcome surprise. I was worried I wouldn't be able to let go, but I did! I anticipate both you and your fiance will be able to when the time comes. There's a certain point where you just can't try to steer the train anymore--you just have to trust that you laid down the tracks well enough to get the train where it's supposed to go.

All my wedding karma is now headed in your direction! You can do it!

The cake thing was hysterical. I saw the bite of cake teetering on his fork, and I was like "No way I'm letting that happen," and just stepped back a bit. It wasn't as close a call as the 2D picture makes it out to be. But, yeah, Marc's face after is priceless. *treasures*

p.s. Dude. My extra userpics expired, and LJ ate all my happy icons, including my Colbert/hiyacynth one! No fair!
