Things that are wigging me out a little bit:* Six of my closest relatives (and one Canadian exchange student) arrive Saturday and become part of the pre-wedding juggling act

When I was in San Francisco last week, Leigh and I were joking that we should call you and shout "OMG YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED IN TWO WEEKS!!!!" into the phone, but then we thought you might kill us.
Still, EEEEEEE! It's going to be awesome! And then you get to relax in the Carribbean (which I cannot spell). *is very excited for you*
Hee! I probably wouldn't have killed you! But it is one of those topics where ALL CAPS discussion of it can rattle me. I'm good if I talk about it in calm, rational tones, but the minute things start escalating, I kinda lose my brain. :)
Can't wait to see you in nine (ha! I all capped that, and then went back and changed it because see above) days!
Whoops, sorry for the excited caps then. (I think the main reason we didn't is we realized that, given the time, you were probably at work).
*hands you back your brain*
Very excited to see you too. I mean, I expect you're going to be way too busy for much interaction this time around so I think there will be more of me seeing you than vice versa, but Leigh and I will be there with bells on (um, not literally....)
That's okay, re: the caps. I can handle a bit at a time, I just need to watch for things going all caps all the time :-)
It's true that there will be many things demanding my attention... However if you two are willing and able, there will be a brunch (evite to come...) the next day (like, two blocks from Leigh's old apartment) between 10 and 12, and if you can make it back into the city I'd love to see you again there and try to increase our face time!
I'm not around much anymore, and if I don't do it here, I'll totally forget in ten days...but I'm sending out a good-vibe package now, and I hope your wedding is perfect - except for the totally wonderful flaws that make it unforgettable and special.
What?! You're getting married? How in the world did that happen? ;-D.
I totally think I'm adorable. Am looking forward to seeing you inducted into a state of Wedded Bliss next week SO MUCH OMG! It's going to be beautiful and wonderful and yes.
And, just think, in less than two weeks you'll be sunning yourself in the Caribbean, not a care in the world. And then all of the wedding crazeh will disappear from your memory and all will be right with the world.
but I do know one and one is two/and if this one could be with youhiyacynthApril 1 2010, 14:26:22 UTC
I'm getting excited, too! So much fun to be had if I can just get through the obstacle course leading up to it (I'm suddenly having a vision of the training montage in BoB: Skip crawling through the barbed wire strug with pig guts).
(I LOVE THIS SONG AND ALWAYS HAVE, and we are huge saps and engraved our wedding bands with an adapted line from it omg)

Sunny, tropical beach should, I hope, have an amnesiac effect on wedding stresses. I hope to return with my blood pressure lowered about 10 points!
