And actually have some stuff to post about. Not a ton, but enough to qualify.

Back from a weekend at Fangirl Central, which while very low key was made of joy because the baylorsr sister was released from the hospital Friday afternoon and was waiting for me in the all-new FGC house. She was doped to the gills, poor liptonrm was just starting to recover from the ( Read more... )

It was wonderful. We may not always be exciting, but we are always for the win.

Yay to the finishing of writing stuff! And the moving! Did not know liptonRM had the Death Flu. Obviously FGC is being targeted. You did stack the rifles and load the Colts and sprinkle the insides with lots of Morton's Iodized, right?

liptonrm got the Death Flu from baylorsr, who had it last week. I hope to escape uninfected.

The new Fangirl Central has been appropriately protected, and plans for stocking canned good and other necessities in the basement so as to avoid having to canabalize one another have been made.

Hey there!! Good to hear from you, and I'll be looking forward to your fic.

We should hang sometime...I can get to Chicago pretty easily...via MEGABUS. *grins* Or if you need a break, Indy is only 3 hours away via the wonders of MEGABUS.

I suppose we could drive in cars, too, but why?

Mwah!!

I was thinking this very thing when I read you were coming up this weekend, but I knew I'd be away. Definitely we should hang out! May is pretty screwed for me, between the four thousand birthdays, my having to move out of my apartment for a week to have the floors redone after this winter's radiator flood, and such, but June is looking relatively open. We should plot.

Fic is good, no? I miss it. This one was weird--the first half of it came out of me in about ten days, which is unheard of for me, plodding writer that I am. The second half? Took two months. Ugh. But I like the end result. I don't know if anyone else will, but I do, and that's a start :-)

How're you?

I'm glad you had a good time this weekend!

it's done except for beta changes and a couple of tweaks I came up with over the weekend.

Did you want to send me the updated version? I haven't done the initial read yet.

Thank you. I'm glad, too.

Re the beta... Oh, no, you're good, thanks. I haven't actually made any of the changes, and they're really minor wordsmithing things. It's just stuff I thought about in discussing the piece at FGC.
