buffyaddict13?? YOU ROCK!! Thank you so much for my holiday + birthday treats! I got home from class last night (woo!! done with class!!) to find it waiting for me. SO MUCH GLEE!! I've packed the Dr. Who novel to read on my vacation (along with the Pratchett novel ultraviolet9a sent me a while back). The bday treats had me screaming with laughter, especially the gum. lol. Yes, us getting together to celebrate various events/seasons would be really good. I'll be stuck at work next Friday, 12/28. Any hopes of you being able to swing lunch? (Which would not have to be the full measure of our celebration, it just occurred to me that I'll be here nearly alone with people tearing up my cube, so it might be a good day for a lunch.)

No, sadly, next Thurs. and Fri. are our BIG VOLUNTEER PUSH at work in which we want to GET A LOT DONE and EMPTY EVERYTHING OUT AND CLEAN with the tons of volunteers we are getting for which I will be working extra long days.
Only, well, I would be hard pressed to find two days when we were open during which we would be less likely to get a mass of volunteers and I fully expect to be lucky if we have 5 people the whole time. But I still have to work extra hours.

(not that I'm bitter about this)

I don't want to sound as if I'm cutting myself down here, but my professor does seem to give about 90% just for showing up and writing in correctly punctuated English. We'll see if my theory plays out with her grading of the final exam. :-)
