Eh, we all have our LJ lapses.

So far my weekend appears....quiet...but I think something entertaining will happen at some point. You know. Maybe. (I was just thinking "I haven't seen Cynthia in a while" and then I thought "dummy, you saw her Tuesday" and then I thought "that feels like forever ago" and then I started thinking about cute archaeologist arm porn)

I've read your SPN fic, and you know how I feel about it. *little pink hearts start floating in the air*. But am not familiar with the band of brothers verse, so I don't think I will venture that. I don't think it will get the stories.

I was wondering though if you ever considered or have written in the Firefly verse though.

No need to head into a new and unfamiliar fandom/universe on my account. :-)

I loved Firefly so so so much, but it never really grabbed hold of me in the fannish way that makes me want to read and write fic. I did some reading there and liked a lot of what I read, but I've never had a single Firefly plot bunny strike me. It's weird, considering how much I love that universe. Or did, when Wash was still a part of it. *is still remarkably bitter*

Ah...Wash.... that part of Serenity never happened. Like that part of Ats with Wes. Canon happens to other people, not the ones we like. *g*

But yeah, I know what you mean. I love that verse and all, but I find it more enticing to think of ways to bring the Firefly characters into the SPN verse rather than the other way around. I guess because SPN feels so solid somehow. Tangible.

I really wish I had a nice salad...some arugala and cherry tomatoes, pine nuts and mozzarella, a nice sprinkling of sea salt and course pepper. Some EVOO...because: VINEGAR, baby!

I love you. I totally wanted to do this meme, but felt too self-conscious to do so without the excuse of a tag. :D

God, I love all these stories, although I think "Occasions of Sin" has a special place in my heart. Is that weird to say about someone else's writing? It does, though. Besides being a story I really enjoyed following through most of your writing process, it's informed the way I watch the show, which is something only the best fanfic does for me.

And of course "Et Maneat Semper" is one of my favorite BoB fics ever, ever, ever. Have I mentioned?

Hahaha! When I tagged you, I was thinking you were either going to love me or hate me for doing so. Very glad it's the former!

Also, nawwww, honey! It's not weird. Or if it is, I declare this entry a "No, I said it is not weird!" zone. Because I feel the same about "Violent World" and because, on top of the writery/character things I like about the stories, both of them are always going to be part of my new-shiny-fandom/universe memories of this fall, which was one of my favorite falls in a long time. /nauseating mutual admiration society meeting.
