Some days, Sundays...

Have been trying to continue my cleaning trend from Wednesday. Not a whole lot of success, but some. I've cleared up the mess that is my DVD shelf in my closet, and everything's all tidily alphabetized again, which is soothing. Swept and dusted. Still need to put away laundry. Allergies are haywire from the dust. Fun ( Read more... )

Oh, thanks, but it's no big deal. I'd done a burning stage back around ep 10 or 11, so I didn't lose the whole season, just the last six or so episodes. I'm almost done DLing three of them, so I'm sure I can get it cleared up by tonight. Mostly I'm just annoyed that I didn't look closely at what I was deleting :-)

Have achieved hanging up pants and skirts. Putting on appropriate music for shirts and sweaters now.

:-)

Heh, I’ve done that. And this entry was like déjà vu in that someone else on my f-list fairly recent did the same thing - accidentally deleted something, even bypassing the ‘are you sure?’ prompt. Hopefully you get everything you want back all right. And I still haven’t seen a single episode of BSG. Meh.

What are you writing, by the way?

Must be something going around...

I can really strongly reccommend the first two seasons of BSG for hiatus viewing, if you're looking. This season's losing it for me, but I still watch just to see what's going to happen. I'm not too bothered, though, I have SPN for fannish wonderfulness :-)

I'm working on a ridiculously long (for me) near-future fic--set mid-2008. It combines a lot of weird elements, and this season's events are affecting it more than I'd anticipated. I know, intellectually, that I can just say "This went AU at point X," but I'd really like Season 2 to be canon backstory for the thing, as much as possible. Problem is, Kripke seems to have planted a chip in my head or summat. I'm getting Jossed right and left.

Ah well. If you will write futurefic in an open canon, you will get your ass Jossed. That's just the way things are. ;-)

Holy CRAP, you are a machine. I am just--man, so, so impressed by how much work you're doing on this story, and how plotty and well-imagined it is. I can't wait to see more. I even promise I won't try to read the sex scenes in public any more!

I'm not afraid to admit that I'm freaking myself out more than a little bit with this thing. It's just so ... big, and multi-chaptered and unending. But once I'm able to concentrate and actually WRITE for a block of time, it comes out pretty readily. I will send you Ch 3 as soon as it's finished. Maybe even as soon as tomorrow night. Whee!

You can read the sex scenes anywhere you want, as long as I'm not *rightthere* when you do it. Because, really, it's just going to be you going "I have a friend who wrote Supernatural smut," and all the people around you going, "A friend, right...."

:-D
