Breaking up is hard to do

And breaking up is even harder when one half of the pair ignores all attempts at communication, making it impossible to actually officially break up with them. So I'm doing it here.

Well done, and God bless. I really admire you for putting your heart out there in the first place. That takes courage, girl. Lots and lots of hugs going out to you.

Thank you, thanks, and, once again, thank you.

Oh, totally off topic--guess what I found when I cleaned off my desk the other night. A check from you in the amount of that movie ticket your bank account has been off for six months. I'm so sorry! I will bank it immediately. I hope the not-balancing thing hasn't been driving you nuts.

No worries. I hadn't even noticed the check hadn't cleared yet. I guess I'm selectively anal-retentive. ;))

Good for you! You don't have to put up with anything, and you're definitely making the right choice. I am feeling inordinately proud of you.

*tight hugs*

Oh by the way, I'm not saying the two situations are at all similar, but I forgot to say I had a guy who tried the 'ignore her and she'll disappear' routine. He cheated on me really obviously, turned up in class with lovebites all over his neck, ignored me for 3 days until I managed to track him down and corner him and be all cheery and breezey and say hey, no problem, let's just be friends. I think he was rather surprised that I wasn't crying or hitting him. He still ignores me to this day - he works behind a bar here in Aber, and if I go in the bar, he practically runs around behind it in an attempt to avoid serving me. So I run around too and make it so he has to serve me.

Hey Grant! Still in Aber? Working behind a bar? Lovely. Yeah, I've travelled the other side of the world. I sing in a band. I'm studying to be a kickarse animator. Nice to see you again!

Lol.
x.

P.S. The Eowyn icon I used in the last comment is titled 'Eowyn's singing the good song of freedom'. Seemed appropriate. :)

lol. I so get you. This morning I was thinking how Tim was always proud of the fact that he's stayed good friends with all his exes, and I was like, *points to NO DICE icon*

*fantasizes* When I come to visit you, we'll go get drinks in his pub and make him do all kinds of laps serving us while we tell (only occasionally fictional) stories about how fabulous and jet-setty and talented we are.
