Ugh. Today is stupid. I had to come in early because I have to leave early, and then I went and set up a meeting and sent out invitations and stuff, and realized, oops, invited for yesterday, and then updated it for today and then realized--you bonehead--you can't attend a 3:30 meeting when you're leaving at 3:15 ( Read more... )

Girl exams are the ebilest. You have my sympathies.

I have been so scattered at work today, running around and never knowing what exactly it is I'm doing. Is it a full moon? And if it is do you think there are werewolves out there? And if there aren't werewolves (which would kinda suck if they weren't Oz or Remus or something) do you think there are fairies? Maybe in a dell with the gnomes?

Thankfully I have a really great GP, and since I don't have any female troubles and am not pregnant, she can do my exams. Which is much less stressful. And she didn't yell at me about the mammogram. This week's goal: Make an appointment.

I do not want to consider a world where werewolves are not like Oz and/or Remus.

I got nothing at all done at work. Big surprise. Tomorrow I will try to do better.

p.s. Poor Hurley :-(

No, it exists. And I was very, very skeptical about it for several reasons, but I have to say it was great fun. Except for the bruises. My strategy was not to bother with the ball at all. I was very good at scooping it off the floor on the run, but can't pass, catch, or shoot, so mostly I just drove my cart around and into things.

Mammograms stink. I've been getting them since I was 25 (ten years now, except, you know, not for the last two years) because I have a family history. Seeing as how my mom's breast cancer hit her at around my age, I think that's part of the reason for the ostrich act I've been doing. Bleh. But I will make an appointment.

Um. Oh, Jenn's boyfriend resurfaced from his PTSD last week, after a month of no contact at all, and she went and spent the weekend with him. Amazingly (excuse my skepticism--I seem to have fully embraced my bitter, jaded, nasty old spinster) they seem to have worked things out. He's getting therapy through is old VA group and they were ring shopping and everything. So. Yay.

Joe?!
