Had a lovely, lovely weekend with timfromcali, and now I'm back at work. Guess which I prefer? I thought you might say that. I must take a moment to thank Chicago weather for being so cooperative. True, Friday afternoon's snow messed things up a bit, but the rest of the weekend was freakishly beautiful, clear, and warm. Today it's gray and cold and dumping

oh so much fun was had by all... HUGE Assyrian winged gardians, ice cream as a meal, and very little travel drama ahhhh :-)

p.s. Today during a really boring meeting I drew two eggs, one vertical, one horizontal. They do not suck entirely. Of course, I was using crap notebook paper and a pen, but I think the shading's okay. *looks again* Well. Not all that egg-like on second notice, but there's shading and stuff, and no outlines made of actual lines.

I saw an ad for Battlestar Galactica on tv the other day and got all giddy and exciting - until I realised it was showing on Sky One. Which I don't have. I hate it when the show trailers for shows on other channels, channels they know very well I DON'T HAVE!

Ooh, hey, my DVDs just got here, so I would be willing to send you the first of the discs abyssinia4077 made for me. You need to download DivX Player (which I think they have for a Mac, and which is free) to play them, and they can get a bit dodgy with the audio on a couple of the episodes, but it's good fun! Will cost me nothing to add it to the little package I was going to send out tomorrow anyway.
