I may swear off movie theaters. Or people.

Seriously. Second-worst movie experience ever. Not as bad as the time we were almost killed at Attack of the Clones (and not just because the movie made one want to gouge out one's own eyes), and worse than The Two Towers with the running Polish translation right behind us ( Read more... )

dood wtf

1) Ugh. That is really bad (and I complain about the text message guy my second screening of Serenity but that's got NOTHING on your story). You really need a flamethrower. Or maybe a remote control that automatically bitchslaps people and they won't know who did it...

2) I'm seeing Brokeback tomorrow too! Yay fangirl sync!

It was beyond annoying. And we could tell that saying something to them would have no effect--the kids' horrid manners were too ingrained, and the parents obviously didn't give a shit and thought their family were the only people intended to enjoy the movie--so we just stewed and festered and yearned for flamethrowers.

Fangirl sync is joy!

Dear Lord, that is the worst! I sure hope tomorrow is better--maybe at least there will be fewer children. Fingers crossed for you. :(

Yes, I'm hoping that the demographics will be on my side. And I'm also prepared to use that remote-control bitchslapper abyssinia4077 was talking about on any text messagers.

Hmm...I guess there's still something to be thankful of about living in Indonesia, then. People in theatres here are generally polite and quiet--maybe we still have a bit of that old Eastern manners thingy.

People here are unbelievably rude in general, and rarely are able to differentiate between seeing a movie in a theatre and in their living room. They need aversion therapy of some sort.

arrrggh! the Rat-bitchwhores! (i don't think that is too strong a term). So so sorry, you needed brandon and I to intimidate them with our ridiculous size and low voices ;-)

em, I shoveled and leveled dirt, swept and picked up trash... so I think I had the better time ;-)

*big bear-ish hugs...with twirling*
