* I have become reacquainted with my iron and ironing board. They make my clothes look all fresh and clean, and aid greatly in my looking like a grown-up person.
* My new Firefly/Serenity fandom pants are SO VERY SHINY! Or, at least, the first three and a half letters are. Beading takes forever.
* Rufus breaks my heart:

Wow, okay.

5. My Doc Roe pants, for sentimental reasons, because they were my first pair and because of the circumstances under which the fandom pants were revealed to me.
*runner up* My Billeh! pants. The man who started it all. Doc Roe got the first pair because I needed a medic, but the first pair of my heart was Billy's.
4. My Aldbourne Whores pants because a) they have the AW humpwings on them b)were made at the superfun fandom-pants making session at Fangirl central and c) sometimes a girl just needs her 26 paratroopers in her pants.
3. My Band of Brothers actors pants. The first time I went absolutely crazy with the fandom pants cheezewhiz. *randomly quotes Rufus* And then there's those other things, which for several reasons we won't mention.
2. My Property of Danny Devlin pants. Next best thing to having it tattooed across your ass.
1. My I Am Fangirl, Hear Me RHAR pants. They're among the most comfy I own, and they mark the stepping up of my fandom pants efforts. Plus, I crack myself up ( ... )

you gave us a list, so I shall respond appropriately, in list fashion:

*firefly/serenity fandom pants, hurrah! do we get to see progress, dearie? just the other day, i was feeling listless before work and decided to pop in a disc, for old good times sake. and then the international serenity trailer appeared on the internet and i remembered how the ship was full of LOVE and HEARTS and kooky brain-altered assassins, and felt the love fire up inside me again! it was glorious. (have you read anything in firefly? curious minds want to know because curious minds have set out and found random smatterings of great things, but no one definitive source).

* rufus is a doll and definitely (especially in recent years) has come into his own when it comes to music -- though i think Want Two wasn't nearly half as amazing as Want One was (my personal favourite).

* MEME TIME! I've been going crazy with the cheesewhiz giving people lists...okay! this ought to keep you busy! i have asked people for visuals, if and when they are so inclined. gabby_silang ( ... )

I was just saying to liptonrm the other day that Firefly is like Joss Whedon's love song to the 'verse. It's just perfect. I'm not sure about posting progress pics of the Serenity pants... I kind of want to unveil them in all their glory. I haven't read a lot of Firefly fic, but I know it's out there. Check out the relatively new community serenitysummer. They just posted a big "Mid Week Link" post with links to various 'ship fic resources. And if you go to previous weeks' links posts, there are other fic sites noted.

I fluctuate on my favorite Rufus album. I really love his first one, but Poses was the one that sucked me in big time. Sigh. He's too wonderful.

Oh dear. Do I have to do all of these? Excellent.

I can't do that first one. I just don't have the knowledge required.

mmmm. chocolat is love. Okay:

5. Edy's/Dryer's Rocky Road Ice cream.
4. Fudge--homemade or name-brand. It's good stuff.
3. Skor bars--any chocolate/tofee mix. The old ice cream shop in town used to sell this honeycomb stuff. Heaven!
2. Lindt milk chocolate with raspberry filling
1. Any fancy chocolate company's milk chocolate and caramel thingies.

OMG I am so hungry now!

Ooh, good lists...
Top five things I put off doing:
5. Getting mammograms
4. Commissioning review panels at work
3. Picking/reading books for my (temporarily defunct kids' book club)
2. Going to the grocery store
1. Putting away my laundry

And the top five things I do to delay the first (in corresponding order)
5. Carrying around the perscription in my purse to make it look like I'm going to go get the mammogram.
4. Dinking around on LiveJournal
3. Reading books completely inappropriate to my book club.
2. Eating condiments for dinner, buying one meal/snack's worth of food at the Whole Foods and/or Walgreens up the block.
1. Watching TV/DVDs
