Author's Note: 2, 15, and 20 (my final 3) happen one right after the other. I have also done one of the bonus one's which I will post along with a "time line" of my stories (so you know the chronological order in case you were curious). Soon I will be done. Yay!
Something had led him here. He knew it wasn’t where he was originally from because he hated the ocean and he recalled living in a large city with huge skyscrapers and smog. This place…was quaint. The sun shone down on the island inhabitants and the ocean, of course, surrounded him on all sides.
Despite this fact, he loved this world…Destiny Islands. It wasn’t where he had been born but somehow it felt like home…and he was about to find out why…
Sora was walking though town, buying groceries for his mom, when someone bumped into his shoulder. He stumbled a bit and turned, “Sorry.”
The tall, lanky man with spiky hair pulled back in a ponytail that was an extremely dark shade of red, nearly black, smirked, “Not a problem.”
Sora blinked and something deep down in him stirred and a name drifted to the surface, “Axel?”
The man blinked, his deep green eyes widening a bit and he stepped back, “N-no…my name’s Ale. A-L-E. No X.”
Time seemed to freeze around the two and slowly everything else seemed to fade away…even Sora and Ale as they were replaced by two familiar figures. A blonde now stood in Sora’s place and a man with lighter red hair stood in Ale’s.
“Axel…it is you,” the blonde said with a soft smile.
“Roxas…long time no see,” the redhead replied with a grin.
Roxas smiled, “Guess we got to meet again in the next life after all.”
Axel nodded, slipping his hands into his pockets, “Guess so squirt…guess I got another chance…lucky me.”
The blonde couldn’t contain it anymore, he jerked forward and wrapped his arms around Axel, “I missed you…i-it’s been a year since I saw you…go.”
Axel was taken a back…he had a heart now and it was filled with both happiness and sadness and he could barely understand why. He brought his hand up and set it a top Roxas’s head, smiling slightly, “I missed you too squirt.”
The scene faded away and Sora realized he was hugging a total stranger; he pulled away immediately, flushing red, “S-sorry.”
Ale blinked, for some reason he was…sad that the boy had pulled away. “W-what was that about?”
Sora swallowed, looking away, and then pushed past him. Ale made to go after him but stopped when he saw Sora turn back around, “We’ll meet again. I may not know it’s you…and you may not know it’s me…but we’ll meet again…at least…that’s what Roxas wanted to say to you.”
“Wait!” Ale shouted, moving to go after the boy but he was gone.
