I'm curious as one of the...newer arrivals here. How long to people tend to stay in this world? I know that there are some who have been here for a few years, but it's possible to come home.

It varies widely, based on what I've seen. Some people stay a few weeks, some people stay years without ever going home.

Right, exactly. Between the scientists and the Animus, I'm not sure who, if anyone, even has control over that process.

This whole place...there doesn't seem to be anything that really is clean cut or makes any sense. I don't know how people have lasted in this world.

As Anko-san said, there isn't a set time for this sort of thing, unfortunately. That, of course, only adds to the unpredictability here.

As for forgetting, do not blame yourself. It is a downside of Adstringendum. However, I suppose I should introduce myself again. I am Ukitake Jyuushirou and you have healed me once, though we had become friends during our time.
