Performance Tests Results

Okay, Its been almost a week since I got this PC.

I Install Windows XP (but I am open in installing Vista Ultimate ONLY).

Also I install some Video and Audio Codecs and Viewed/Listen some files.

For Audio, Its pretty good although its only 2 channel speakers.

For Video, I tried first some Low quality AVI files and it runs smoothly. Next is some low ( Read more... )

I think your video card and monitor is the problem and is not up to the standards of your RAM and processor. I hope you're using a DDR2 PCI Express 16x video card, either 256MB or 512MB. Otherwise, regardless of the fact the you have 2GB of RAM and that you have a dual core processor, it isn't really going to do the trick.

I hope your RAM is also DDR2. Is it PC6400 or lower than that?

I think its in the standards of the RAM and Processor. Maybe its just that I don't have a Separate video card.

Also I am sure that my RAM is a DDR-2 PC6400.

Built-in video cards aren't really that good...your motherboard will take a beating.

I still think it's the video card. Get a nVidia Geforce when you can. 256MB at least. If you switch to Vista, your graphics won't be as good. And mind you, Vista is slow compared to XP, even if you have a dual core processor. The OS just sucks overall.

Thanks for the suggestion. As for now, I cant spend that much for the pc. I guess I'm gonna stick for a while in this system until I have enough money to buy the video card.
