That is pretty damned lame. I mean, at least pretend to be interested in front of your employees. Go roll your damned eyes in the back seat of you Mercedes they paid for. Jeez!

One of my coworkers used to work for Petsmart. She a really liked it there, so maybe? Just don't go to Petco. I've heard (and seen) that they treat the animals there like merchandise. "Oops! Broke a hamster. Better mark that out of stock."

I think my problem is that everyone worked overtime, there were 9pm-4am shifts and everyone worked 12 times harder than they usually work, and we really do work hard at that store. There's a couple of bad eggs but for the most part, the regulars are all really hard workers. He should have just seen how the store normally is because I'm pretty sure this means, hey, they're getting all this work done, let's start taking away more hours. I think we went over budget by like 140 hours the week before not counting how much we've gone over for the past month or so.

Petco, that sounds kind of disturbing. =/ I may really look into Petsmart after the holidays, my year as manager is up in like march or april and I'd like to get the year experience for my resume.

What the hell? If you're going to ask an employee's opinion, the least you could do is listen to it properly :/ I guess I have a better experience with Snowgum, where I've met the owner a couple of times because he's vaguely local. My mum used to be Scout leader to his kids. Then again, I don't think he's made billions out of Snowgum LOL

I would definitely look into going into Petsmart if you'd think you'd have some fun there :) Don't stay somewhere if they're gonna treat you like crap :(
