I've locked it--is locking stuff that's rated for teenagers a new change? It doesn't seem to be in the rules anywhere. (I don't think this fic rates an adult warning, since it doesn't hit anything like an R, but it's not really general-audiences either, just because I wouldn't want the average ten-year-old reading it.)

I apologize. I did not read this fanfic. I read it as Teen and up. Which suggested to me that it might even be R?

If you are very sure that it doesn't have any extreme smut/violence/rape/drug use/adult content etc, then you can leave it unlocked. I probably will have to read it to make sure, but I'm doing a quick sweep right now.

Ah, I think we're coming at things from cross-systems! If the fic has actual adult elements (sex, actual depictions of violence, etc.) then I would mark it for adults. Teen+ is my designation for stuff that covers the pg-13 range, I suppose, as in "this material is suited for anyone who's at least a teenager."
