Please continue dusting off Eclipse, I still await the ending...

And I'm a-dusting, I promise. I'm going to get this thing done, if it kills me; and as for the ending - that bit's been written since the get-go. So at least there's that as a guarantee ;)

I'm thrilled to hear you plan to pick up Eclipse again! I was re-reading it yesterday as a matter of fact!

Tell me, then - do you think I should go back and do an edit of what's there before I pick up with it again, or is it okay as it is?

I don't think it needs any editing at all. I think your writing flows brilliantly and is extremely elegant and infused with emotion. I don't think it needs editing unless there is something in there you feel you need to change in order to get the tone of later chapters that you haven't written yet, which is, of course understandable. If that's the case - then of course do whatever editing you feel is needed. If that's not the case, then no - I think it's darn near perfect.
Honestly, if you're worried about tone matching up, you shouldn't be, because this new quick fic proved you're still very much in touch with the character's emotions, IMO. :)
Brilliant as always! I for one, can't wait!!!

Anyway, I'm plugging away at the next chapter or so now, so hopefully there'll be something up somewhat soon - mostly, this arc of the story is rather romantic and kinda schmoopy and cliche, and while I'm cool with that (because everyone needs a little of that sometimes, I think), it's definitely outside my writing comfort zone, so I'm trying to balance what works and what's "too much," so to speak. We'll see what happens!
Again - thank you so much for all your kind words about this story; your enthusiasm is definitely a big part of the reason I've finally decided to get back to writing it!
