I don’t know what to say to that; I think I’m the one in awe, now. Thank you, so much.

Beautiful. I think you ticked off every single issue Tony has, and still brought it to a gorgeous, beautiful conclusion.

Thank you, so much. I tried to portray him as I saw him, and it’s wonderful to see that it was accurate.

Oh, poor Pepper. This was a beautiful disaster that you turned into a hopeful conclusion.

Yes, poor Pepper. But I am glad you saw the hope there, as well. Thanks!

This was. Wow. Amazing is the right word, but I use it so much I'm afraid it wouldn't adequately describe just how.

You've pinged Tony in this so well, what drove him, what drives him, what he wants to drive him and how he struggles to reconcile the three.

Most of all I love this:

This is everything - everything - and he has to fight for it, because it’s not a weapon of mass destruction, it’s not atonement for his sins, it’s not daddy issues or a guilt complex or compensation; it’s quiet and subtle and all-consuming and filled to the brim with hope.

Because that's Tony, at his core, trying, even if he doesn't always quite make it. Just. Wow. Awesome.

oh geez. You really nailed Tony here, his total inadequacy in the face of real emotion, his painful awareness of his inadequacy. Lovely.
