:) republic made me want to kill him (coz i had to study it, and studyng things strangely makes it all the more hate-worthy, no?), and Lord of the Flies... the only image that is STILL in my head is of Piggy getting his skull bashed in. i din't read anythign after that for a week. i jsut read assorted criticism and background to the book.
