What To Do

Being unemployed is a drag. I mean what are you supposed to do with your day? It's really bad. I want a job. But I did what no one should do-I got used to certain income level. I'm earning unemployment for the next few months and lets just say taking a job that pays less than $12 an hour would not be worth it. Which in Texas is most entry level

Unemployment is tough. It's boring, and it's depressing because the buzz words are 'transferable skills' and yet if you got those skills in another industry they no longer transfer. I can think critically, I can! I promise. Ugh.

Haley is wonderful. Although SO doesn't like her. Since she's in the extended process of dying, my parents don't make her do anything. Meanwhile SO and I are highly demanding of our dogs, and SO doesn't like that Haley doesn't have to sit, stay, come or any of the things we expect River and Scout to do. River just wants Haley to play. If River and Scout play which they've only done here twice, Haley tries to get them to stop and settle down. I'm really going to miss her when she's gone.

I agree. It's totally boring and depressing. And the part where you actually receive unemployment checks seems pretty demeaning as well. I hated that part most of all, I think.
