History_Haven has reached its first milestone.

We have ten members!

Next milestone is twenty.

A thanks to all of those that joined, and to celebrate I have another riddle.

Guess the meaning of this Japanese idiom...

Hana yori dango (also can be a punning manga title, but whatev) is something equivalent to "fair words will not fill the belly" a.k.a. its better to have something that actually gives you sustenance than just something pretty.

That is correct!

Hana Yori Dango essentialy means it is better to have something practical than something esthetic. The pun of the manga is achived by using kanji that means boy, but having it pronounced dango. So the title literally means "Boys over Flowers".

Don't worry. I really intended this for you because, first you are probably the only one that would know it and second because you didn't get in on the riddle game.
