Happy Halloween, Haveners!!!

Of course, All Hallow’s Eve is a time for ghosts, ghouls, goblins and… pumpkins. So this year, I went with a history-inspired theme: Anne Boleyn, post-chop. Except it’s all creepy, because her head is still on her shoulders. There is, though, a distinct line of blood around her neck. Maybe this is her ghost? I don’t know ( Read more... )

That carving is exceptional, if not a tad bit creepy. But! It's Halloween, so it's suppose to be like that.

I love the idea of a historically inspired Jack-o-Lantern! That's my kind of Halloween.

Thanks!! I think my family outdid itself in carving this year; my mom found the biggest pumpkin in the patch and carved Cornelius from Planet of the Apes, my brother did the Count from Sesame Street (we're all still crazy muppet fans), and my dad carved Elpheba from Wicked.

Ah- Ah- *is too creeped out*

Wow, thanks. When I dream of Anne Boleyn's execution tonight, I'll remember I have you to blame. I'm just joking...but honestly, it makes me remember that last scene in the Boleyn Inheritance in Jane Rochford's point of view where she was about to get executed and the executioner was counting down the seconds before the axe...*shudders*

Okay then, uh, now time to stop thinking of Anne Boleyn again.

Oh right, my icon is of Anne...*gulps*

You made that? So cool! I don't even have a pumpkin to carve yet. That's totally epic! Historical pumpkins FTW~!

Awww... pumpking carving *sigh* I've never exerienced pumpkin carving.

1st reason: my parents believes that pumpkins are for eating and eating only

2nd reason: I dunno... it's just that pumpkin carving isn't that famous in this country

3rd reason: We have no time to celebrate halloween

The last time I celebrated halloween for real was when i was 11 years old.

anyways... when halloween comes... i think of elizabeth bathory and the men who beheads people charged crimes by kings... do i make sense?
