FAQ:

What is a Big Bang?I've heard this question a lot when others have asked me about other big bangs. Just out of curiosity, would "Fullmetal Alchemist" be historical enough to qualify?

(I have a stand-alone gen adventure story I'm planning to work on. I'll consider submitting it here if FMA is acceptable.)

Is this only for TV shows set in a historical setting or any fandom (i.e. books)? If it's limited to TV, can it be a miniseries that is an adaptation of a book?

It's for any fandom, be it books, miniseries, movies, TV Series, etc.

Just to make sure - does a historical AU qualify, even if the fandom isn't "historical" as such? (I've got a couple of HP bunnies nagging at me).

Oh yeah. Anything qualifies as long as the story is historical or if there are a lot of flashbacks involved if it's a modern thing (ie. Vampire Diaries is an example). So yeah, if the AU is historical, it definitely qualifies.

LOL! No, it's not mandatory and I don't email for the checkin dates, I post something in the comm for people to check in if they want. The only time I will use your email is to be in touch to get you and your artist in contact and/or to make sure you are in touch with them so we aren't scrambling last minute for you to have one.

I am one of those that figures if you are having issues with getting something done, there is the vent comm I created or you know how to contact me if you can't make the deadline or need to move in the posting sequence if things aren't quite done by the time you need to post.

I am too. If I had someone constantly poking at me about it, I'd lose interest and be all RAWR NO WRITEY!
