I am having an acronym-fail moment -- what is a PB that I might provide one?

So sorry, I never saw this. *shakes fist at LJ*

A PB means "played by", generally used for RP characters that are either a) original fiction characters or b) book characters that have not been given a "face" by a movie adaptation.

it can also be a personal preference change because you do not agree with whoever was chosen in a movie or show. ie. writing Lord of the Rings and having a different person in your mind's eyes than Orlando Bloom as Legolas.
