"I'm moving out of Bedi's place. In somewhat more modern terms, too much drama." He fishes two cookies out of his pocket and offers one to Percy. "Only trouble is I didn't plan ahead where I was moving to."
"A kitchen in the forest?" Miss Elizabeth Bennet's voice is lightly mocking, and there's laughter in her eyes, along with avid curiosity. She's dressed for walking, as it's evident she has been, since they're not really very close to the Mansion. "Are you a hermit, sir? Some religious zealot, fled to a solitary life in the woods, as in some old book?"
"Nothing so interesting, I'm afraid," he says, standing and giving a polite bow. "I'm merely temporarily homeless, and stopped to ponder where I ought to go next. Sir Lucan of Wales, at your service, my lady."
"Miss Elizabeth Bennet, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Sir Lucan," she smiles, dabbing a curtsy at him. "Might I make so bold, sir, as to suggest that there is plenty of room up at the grand house, if you are in need of a roof?"
