My laptop has decided to become a digital vegetable and refuses to work. There is something wrong with the BIO(?) or something... I can never read it as fast it restarts or shuts down. It's totally bitchy and I seriously... need... a new computer. ...I may end up buying a new laptop over a desktop... 'cause I have NO internet connection with my ( Read more... )

Maybe it's teh power source? Sounds like what happened to my puter before XDDD

It's the BIOS or something. I asked some of my computer tech-ish friends at school today and they told me to just go to Gateway -- since that's where I got my computer -- and download a new BIOS. I'm like.. ok... that sounds easy enough so now I'm using my mother's computer and just downloaded the settings and such for the motherboard and one for the media reader. I just hope my computer stays alive long enough to have them installed =.=; Oh dear.

There's no local technician here where I live that I can think of T___T There used to be a Gateway store, but not anymore @_@; I just downloaded the motherboard and media drive readers off of the Gateway website and so I hope my computer stays alive long enough for the installation process to go through =.=; I really want her to work. I love my laptop T___T She's only a year old.

Hey Tsu! We're both having computer troubles! My harddrive died on me (it even has physical damage) and nothing can be recovered! We need to band together against faulty technology! >o

Oh no T______T *huggles Hina* I've just been having the shittiest month with technology. It's all bombarding me at once. I asked some my tech-savvy friends at school today to see if they had any ideas on how to solve my problem with my BIOS and they told me to just download and install a new one so I went to the Gateway website and downloaded some things for the motherboard and media driver reader, etc. Hopefully... it will work 'cause every time I try to fix my own computer problems, they tend to go badly. Or something like that T____T I'm so sad.
