I got some rubber boots from Amazon today. They were more like rubber overshoes actually, designed to be worn with shoes inside them. Without shoes inside them they were too big and uncomfortable to wear, but once I shoved a pair of old tenni shoes inside they work great. Considering that there was a baseball scene in the movie, I am tempted to show up as a member of the Baseball Furies (from "The Warriors" and with the bat), but I'm not sure the attendees would identify the costume
