okay people, here's the dealie-yo. beta testing is not a right. beta testing is not a service provided to you by the game developer. beta testing is you volunteering to help the game developer find problems with their software. in return, you get to preview/evaluate a game before it's released to the general public

It's not so much beta tester's pride as it is amateur game developer being fed up with beta tester arrogance. ^^ I just get really aggravated reading the beta test forums a lot of the time.
