I've finally been getting the hang of my personal finances after a couple of decades off dumbassery. But I think "pass the parcel" is almost always a desperation move - better than leaving it to smolder, but you wouldn't bother if you could put it out.

Aye - as someone who's had a wodge of entirely exploded debt since I was a student, due to a combination of stupidity and terrible advice from my bank (or rather very good advice from their perspective), the 0% shuffle is a hell of a lot better than the alternative.
